The FP&A team at a regulated energy organisation faced excessive workloads and poor productivity despite growing headcount, leaving leadership unable to identify the root cause. Aptora led a deep diagnostic phase, interviewing stakeholders, analysing reports, and mapping workflows to uncover fragmented reporting, inconsistent KPIs, and reliance on manual processes. The findings shifted leadership’s focus from hiring to standardisation, leading to approval for redesigning reporting and budgeting frameworks. This clarity became the catalyst for broader financial planning and control transformation.

DESIGN the solution
Following rapid global expansion, the organisation faced compliance and audit risks due to inconsistent PO processes across 10,000+ suppliers. With a tight 3-month deadline and limited budget, Aptora designed a lean, scalable PO solution using existing systems (NetSuite, O365, Power Automate, Power BI). Through process mapping, stakeholder collaboration, and smart automation, the design delivered a cost-effective, secure, and user-centric blueprint. The outcome was full cross-functional buy-in and a clear implementation plan achieving maximum impact with minimal tech investment.

DELIVER the change
A newly consolidated group of 23 companies lacked a unified expense system, creating oversight gaps, fraud risk, and inefficiencies. Aptora led a phased global rollout of SAP Concur, tailoring configurations to local compliance, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, and integrating with HR and finance systems. Supported by centralised training and change management, the programme achieved high adoption. The result was a single auditable system that improved governance, reduced FTE costs, and enhanced global transparency.
